REU Application Process
What to Submit:
i. Application Form
To apply to our program, use this online application form. Once you have submitted the application form, a copy of it will be sent to you by email confirming your submission. If you do not receive an email confirmation or you are having other problems with the submission of your application, please make a copy of the form before you hit submit. You can send the copy of the application directly to email@example.com.
An unofficial or official copy of your most recent college transcript and a list of current courses should be included with your application (please include transcript and personal statement in one email). These should be submitted in electronic form to the e-mail address listed below. If you are unable to submit electronically please mail your official transcripts to:

iii. Letters of Recommendation
Request two letters of recommendation from instructors who can best evaluate you. Letters should be e-mailed from instructors directly to the e-mail address listed below.
iv. Personal Statement
Write a two-page (double-spaced) statement that provides a portrait of who you are as a student. Describe your research interests and goals. Be very specific about your career objectives and how participation in this REU program will help you achieve those objectives. Tell us what motivates you to conduct research. Let us know why you feel you are particularly qualified for this REU program. Provide details of any experiences that you feel are relevant to your application. This personal statement should be sent as an e-mail attachment to the e-mail address listed below.
When to Submit:
The application deadline is Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Applications will no longer be taken after 11:59PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2014.
Where to Submit:
All application materials should be submitted electronically. Clicking the “submit” button on the application form will send it automatically. All other materials should be e-mailed as attachments to the e-mail address listed below. PLEASE NOTE: Include your last name in the subject line of all e-mails. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR PERSONAL STATEMENT & UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT as one email whenever possible.
