FINANCIAL AID

We strongly recommend that you apply for all available financial aid (UAA Financial Aid, Federal Funding (FAFSA) or Native Corporations). You should begin apply in early January of each year if you are planning on attending school in the summer or fall. Most funding sources have application deadlines in the spring, often as early as March or April.

Make an appointment to discuss your individual needs with the UAA Financial Aid Office. You must fill out a FAFSA form (you may be eligible for federal grants, loans or work studies) to manage any funding through the Financial Aid Office. Check also with your Native Corporation, Village Councils and Community Service organizations in your specific region for scholarship opportunities.
