Prospective Students

StudyingPreparing for college can be a challenging process, but rest assured it doesn't have to be, if you allow yourself plenty of time. Normally we recommend prospective students allow a minimum of six months to prepare, although nine months to a year is more ideal.


Checklist for New Students

  1. Take ACT, SAT and/or Placement Tests
  2. Apply for Admission to UAA
  3. Order required Transcripts and Test Scores
  4. Determine how you will pay for college
  5. Apply for Financial Aid - if needed
  6. Apply for On-Campus Housing - if needed
  7. Complete your Admission File
  8. Sign up for an Orientation Session
  9. Meet with an Academic Advisor
  10. Register for Classes
  11. Pay for Classes
  12. Get your WOLFcard (student ID card)
