UAA APTI - UAA Journalism Internship Program*

The purpose of the APTI - UAA Journalism Internship Program is to provide financial assistance for educational expenses equivalent to an amount equal to up to nine credits of tuition, for a journalism or public communications student at the University of Alaska Anchorage, while the student interns at Alaska Public Telecommunications, Inc. (APTI), gaining valuable work experience.

Award amount is equivalent to up to 9 credits of tuition

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must be enrolled in the Journalism and Public Communications Department at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
  • Applicants must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0.
  • Applicant may enroll full/part-time during the semester/s of the award.
  • Applicant must complete application process with the UAA Department of Journalism and Public Communications.
