UAA Dean Berg Integrity in Journalism Award*

The purpose of the UAA Dean Berg Integrity in Journalism Award is to provide scholarship support for tuition and other related educational expenses to full-time Journalism and Public Communications students who are Alaska residents at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Applicant will be required to demonstrate the understanding of the importance of integrity in Journalism and Public Communications.

Award amount is a minimum of $1,000 per academic year

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must be a full-time (twelve (12) credits) degree-seeking Journalism and Public Communications student at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
  • Applicants must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0
  • Aplpicant must be an Alaska resident
  • Applicant must complete application process with the UAA Department of Journalism and Public Communications.
