Everette K. Wagner Endowed Scholarship

The purpose of the Everette K. Wagner Endowed Scholarship Fund is to provide financial assistance to students currently enrolled at the University of Alaska Anchorage. This scholarship has been created in honor of Dr. Everette K. Wagner, a UAA alumnus and life-long learner. Everette Wagner inspired others with his love of education and his belief in the value of a college education. This scholarship is intended to help working students achieve their goal of a four-year degree.

Qualifications:

  • Preference will be given to psychology students.  If no psychology students qualify, the award may be made to education students.
  • Preference will be given to students that demonstrate financial need.
  • Preference will be given to students holding a job to put him/herself through school.
  • Preference will be given to Alaska residents.
  • Recipient must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
  • Recipient must be formally admitted in to a Bachelor's degree program at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
  • Recipient must enroll full-time (twelve (12) credits) at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
