The purpose of the Topcon Survey Scholarship is to offer financial assistance for tuition and other educational expenses to full-time students who are formally admitted into a Geomatics degree-seeking program with an emphasis on land surveying, at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Award amount is a minimum $500 per academic year
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5.
- Applicant must be formally admitted into a Geomatics degree-seeking program with emphasis in surveying, at the University of Alaska Anchorage .
- Applicant must plan on enrolling full-time (twelve (12) credits for) at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
- Applicant must be an Alaska resident.
- Applicant must have at least a Sophomore class standing.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are working full or part-time for any of the firms on behalf of which Topcon has donated funds. A letter from the firm acknowledging this employment is sufficient evidence.
