Registration Access Form Help

Where can I find the Registration Access Form?
If you are unsure whether you must complete the form, use the Registration Wizard found at http://www.uaa.alaska.edu/admissions/

Do I need to apply for admission to the university?
If you are enrolling in the July 2004 course, no.  However, beginning in Fall 2004 UAA is requiring all students who take classes to be formally admitted.

What is the difference between degree-seeking & non-degree seeking admission?
Degree-seeking admission is traditional college admission.  Individuals who plan on receiving a degree from UAA should choose degree-seeking admission.  The majority of students registering for Fundamentals of Arctic Engineering will be non-degree seeking students.  Non-degree-seeking students are primarily taking classes for personal interest, professional development, recreation, or any reason other than to earn a certificate or degree.  Being admitted as a non-degree seeking student is easy!  There are no admission fees, no application deadlines, no transcripts to submit and there is an easy online application form.  To apply for admission or see which admission type best suits your needs visit the UAA Admissions page.

Why can't I register immediately?
The UAA Registration Access Form is processed during the university's normal operation hours (M-F, 8-5).  Wolf Link will not recognize your account until the form has been processed.  Check UAOnline every 24 hours to see if your account has been activated.

Which semester should I select?
Select Spring when registering for the March course.
Select Summer when registering for the May course.
Select Fall when registering for the October course.January - April  =  SPRING SUMMER
August - December  =  FALL

What should I enter as my goal at UAA?
This varies by student but common entries for professionals taking this course are:
Industry Standards Certification, Upgrade Job Skills/Promotion, Maintain License/Recertification, Other, Undecided
