ESM Departmental Scholarships & Financial Aid

During most academic years the ESM Department has the privilege of awarding selected students financial assistance through scholarships, tuition waivers, and work opportunities (graduate assistantships or research assistantships).

Please note that each student is personally responsible for his or her student account.  No student should refrain from making payment of their University account with the hope that departmental tuition assistance will be granted, or processed in time to avoid penalties for any missed payment deadlines.

GSA Scholarships

The application deadline for Spring 2013 GSA scholarships has passed.  Please continue to check this webpage for future scholarship updates.

The UAA Graduate Student Association (GSA) requests proposals each spring and fall for awards to assist advanced level studies and research at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Awards of up to $1000 are available. Preference will be given to graduate students, however, all UAA students who meet the eligibility requirements may apply.
