During most academic years the PM program has the privilege of awarding selected students financial assistance through scholarships, tuition waivers, and other opportunities.
Please note that each student is personally responsible for his or her student account. No student should refrain from making payment of their University account with the hope that departmental tuition assistance will be granted, or processed in time to avoid penalties for any missed payment deadlines.

The UAA Graduate Student Association (GSA) requests proposals each spring and fall for awards to assist advanced level studies and research at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Awards of up to$1000 are available. Preference will be given to graduate students, however, all UAA students who meet the eligibility requirements may apply.

Project Management Scholarships
PMI Alaska Chapter Scholarship
The PMI Alaska Chapter is providing an academic scholarship to be administered by the PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF) Scholarship and Awards Program. PMIEF, a charitable nonprofit organization, supports development of the best and brightest future project management professionals worldwide by providing over 40 academic scholarships to college and university students studying project management and related fields.
Applications are due by June 1st. In order to be considered eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in or applying for an accredited academic degree program in project management or a related field benefiting from project management with the following order of priority:
1st Priority: A member of the PMI Alaska Chapter who is a resident of Alaska attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university program anywhere.
2nd Priority: Any individual residing in Alaska who is attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university program anywhere.
