Baccalaureate Program Secretary
Jamey Cordery has been in an administrative support position for many years working in many different fields. She has been at UAA since August, 2011, where she started in the Governance Office. In June, 2012, she became the secretary for the School of Nursing Baccalaureate Program providing support services to the instructors. September, 2013, also sees her serving on the UAA Classified Council.
She delights in the opportunity to assist others in being successful in their endeavors. She continually updates her computer skills by taking classes to learn new programs and refine current skills. She is also a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist. She enjoys learning new computer skills and sharing her knowledge with others.
Jamey has 4 adult children that she home schooled and 1
grandchild. She has lived in Alaska for 20 years with a 16 year break in
Washington State in the middle of the 20 years. She is an avid reader and has
eclectic interests that include, but are not limited to, science fiction, art,
history, and music.
