UAA School of Nursing seeks innovative, energetic academic professionals to contribute to our nursing education programs that incorporate world-class simulation technology with an emphasis on inter-professional learning and address health care challenges within Alaska. Nursing faculty responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction in classrooms and via distance education modalities. Faculty duties involve work to plan, implement and evaluate nursing degree curriculum, participation in university and community service activities, fulfilling committee appointments and engaging in professional activities. Scholarship is included in the work expectations of doctorally prepared faculty.

Must hold at least one higher degree in nursing with clinical specialty in area of nursing specified in detailed position posting. Minimum of Master's degree is required. Strong knowledge base in Nursing Education including curriculum development and teaching methods. Must be eligible for unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska.
