Facebook is the most widely used social media platform, with
1 billion plus monthly active users worldwide, 618 million active users every
day, 680 million monthly active mobile users, all who spend an average of 20
minutes a day on the social network.
Facebook is ideal for showcasing your department, program or
group as well as helping to build recognition and create a dialogue between you
and your audience. For many UAA departments and programs, Facebook is the
flagship of their social media presence and we encourage everyone to join the
social conversation with current and prospective students, as well as faculty,
staff and the community at large. Before you create an account, please read Facebook's
Terms and Conditions < https://www.facebook.com/terms.php>,
by using Facebook, you agree to these terms and conditions.
