Several scholarships are available for BSW and MSW majors and all SWK students are encouraged to apply for scholarships offered by UAA, the College of Health and UA in addition to those that are administered by the School of Social Work. Application deadlines for scholarships that are awarded for the 2012-2013 academic year will be posted by the School of Social Work no later than early September 2012. Applications offered through UAA and UA are due on February 15 of the year prior to the award. Late applications are not accepted. | ||

College of Health AwardsCollege of Health Dean’s Book Stipend Award$500 maximum is available to support the purchase of Social Work texts or other required readings. Applications will be due late September 2013. Submit applications to the SWK Scholarship Committee, c/o Mary Parker. Late applications will not be accepted.
Book Stipend Application will be available in late August.

UA and UAA AwardsUAA Michael Baring-Gould Memorial Scholarship$6,000 or more available. Applications are due by February 15 prior to year of award. More information is available for this award and others on the UAA Scholarship website.
