Emily Bermingham

Biography

Emily Bermingham received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2006. She received a M.A. in Sociology with a focus on medical sociology from Arizona State University in 2009. Currently she is working on a joint degree, a Ph.D. in Anthropology and a Master of Public Health degree. Emily’s research focus is on indigenous health and treatment seeking behaviors in the Amazonian region in Ecuador. Emily really enjoys teaching and is happy to be at UAA!
