I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend but he pulled out before he came. I am on the injectable birth control shot, just took my second shot. Should I still take Plan B?
If you are currently using Depo-Provera (injectable birth control) you are using very effective birth control, and do not need Plan B for unprotected intercourse. Depo-Provera is given every 12 weeks to continue your contraceptive protection. You are correct that withdrawal prior to ejaculation is not an effective method of birth control. You are covered for contraceptive management with Depo-Provera, but not for protection for sexually transmitted infections. For safe sex use condoms during sexual activity.
