
Jessica Spayd, ANP originally was working towards a Marine Biology degree at Long Island University and then received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Aurora University in the Chicago area. She went to Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas to complete a Critical Care Internship and worked several years in the Surgical/Trauma ICU and the Emergency Department. She completed her graduate nursing schooling from the University of Texas at Arlington. Jessica has been a resident of Alaska for 5 years and has a great love of the outdoors. She enjoys many outdoor activities that include kayaking, cycling, and skiing and she is an active member of the Nordic Ski Patrol.
