Student Success Initiatives at UAA

The Office of Student Success at UAA runs Student Success Initiatives, and partners with the Office of Academic Equity programs that are designed to open doors for students to access post-secondary education and to help students find the support they need to make their college journey from admission to graduation a success! UAA supports students as early as high school through programs like TRIO Upward Bound (UB), TRIO Education Talent Search (ETS), and Middle College Programs. Course placement helps students select the best level of math or writing course for them to ensure that they begin college with success. Students find valuable resources for their day-to-day college life through Student Advising, the Learning Commons and peer initiatives at the Learning Commons, TRIO Student Support Services (SSS), and UAA Textbook Affordability course marking.
