S.U & C.S.S. Advisory BoardThe purpose of the Student Union and Commuter Student Services Advisory Board is to:
A. Provide input on the programs, services and facility use of Student Union and Commuter Student Services. 1. Review programs and services in the Student Union. 2. Provide feedback, guidance, and vision on the facility usage of the Student Union. 3. Review programs and services of Commuter Student Services. 4. Provide feedback, guidance, and vision about Commuter Student Services.
B. Make recommendations regarding programs, services and facility use of the Student Union and Commuter Student Services. 1. Make recommendations to increase overall effectiveness of the programs and services that are provided within the Student Union and Commuter Student Services 2. Make recommendations to best utilize the Student Union facility for the students of the University of Alaska Anchorage.
The Student Union and Commuter Student Services Advisory Board consists of 11 members.
All members of the Student Union and Commuter Student Services Advisory Board must be in good academic standing. Recommendations by the Student Union and Commuter Student Services Advisory Board are made in writing to the Dean of Students Office. The recommendations are then forwarded to the appropriate individuals, who may include the Associate Dean of Students, the Director of Student Life and Leadership, the Director of New Student Orientation, Club Council, USUAA, University Dining Services, Business Services, or others. |
