Joining a student club can be an enriching experience for any student. Being involved can assist you in developing leadership skills, networking, and just having fun with other students with your same interests. You do not need to major in Theatre or Dance to join any of our student-run organizations. Learn more about the Theatre & Dance clubs below, and visit their pages for more information.
To see what other student clubs and organizations are on the UAA campus, or even start a club of your own, visit the UAA Student Clubs and Organizations webpage.
The Dance Club is in charge of fundraising, advertising, organizing social events, and raising awareness of dance on campus and in the community. The Club aims to provide fundraising support for the UAA Dance Ensemble and expand opportunities for local artists and teachers in the field of dance. Throughout the year, the Club offers various dance workshops for UAA students and community members.
Visit Dance Club's page at the UAA Life website for more information about the club including news, regular meeting times, and contact information.
Theatre on the Rocks
"Theatre on the Rocks" (TTR) is a group of committed individuals who have a shared passion of theatre. TTR is a member initiated and governed club that exists to support the UAA Department of Theatre and Dance by means of concessions, bake sales, and increasing campus-wide awareness regarding theatrical events and performances. TTR will also function to further enhance and develop theatre opportunities on campus and in the community.
Visit TTR's page at the UAA Life website for more information about the club including news, regular meeting times, and contact information.
