Making friends is an essential part of your college experience. Studies have shown that students are more successful when they live together on campus, share academic interests, and participate in social activities.
While you will learn a tremendous amount in your classes, you will also learn a lot from your peers. Living on the "Honors Floor" is an excellent opportunity to live with students of similar academic commitment and abilities.
The Honors Floor, comprised of the Freshman Experience Wing and the Returning Honors Students Wing, is located in East Hall, one of the residence halls at UAA.
For more information and to download an application form, visit UAA's Housing, Dining, and Residence Life website or call (907) 786-7202.
| One of the many activites on the Honors Floor, students gathered every Monday night to read a chapter of the Tortilla Curtain, by T.C. Boyle, UAA's book of the semester. Honors students, Liz Percak-Dennett, Resident Advisor, and Cassie Iutzi-Mitchell also came to a special event for Honors students to meet T.C. Boyle. | |
