What We Recycle

Mixed Paper Blue Recycling Containers are located throughout the main UAA campus and select UAA off campus buildings.

Mixed Paper Includes:

Office paper (with or without staples)
Computer Paper
Receipt paper
Manilla Envelopes

Sticky notes
Card stock (like business cards, or invitations)
Shredded paper (in bags)
Notebook paper
Newspaper

Colored computer paper

Magazines
Glossy paper (not photos like Kodak)
Paperboard (such as cereal boxes or tissue boxes)
Catalogs (without plastic binding)
Books (without binding)
Phone books
Cardboard (flattened and next to or behind recycle bin)

What we can NOT recycle:

Photos (like Kodak)
Tissues
Napkins
Bound books
Plastic
Glass
Aluminum

Paper plates
Paper towels
Coffee cups (because they have wax lining)
No paper clips (staples are OK)
No transparencies
No candy wrapper

Please no trash of any sort.
