Common Spot LogoUAA uses PaperThin's CommonSpot content management system (CMS) to implement UAA's institutional website. Author's login to the edit site with their UAA username, make changes to their web sites, and then publish to the institutional website. All from a web browser. Changes can be saved, scheduled, and moderated according to the business needs of the group.

 

Consultation Sessions

IT Services Web/Applications team offers 5 consultation hours per week. Consultations focus on what you want to accomplish on your site. You can sign up for the next available training by calling or emailing the callcenter.

Worksessions are done in person or online. In person consultations are in a conference room with a projector screen and wireless keyboard. Online consultations are done from your office via screen sharing and a telephone.

Less than 5 people? Come visit us in SSB 120.
5 people or more? We'll come to your conference room.

Open House

Each month, WebPros hosts an open house in a computer lab where you can retreat to build your website and consult with a pro. Open houses are hosted the third Tuesday of every month from 2 PM to 4 PM in the GHH 103 computer lab.

All CMS tutorials, user manuals, and release notes are available in the technology knowledge base 

Mailing List

There is a mailing list for CMS authors that is a great resource for asking questions and sharing best practices. The list is upated once a semester from the list of users who have author privileges in the CMS.
