University of Alaska Anchorage

Print Orders:
Print orders should be submitted online via our digital storefront at http://uaa.myprintdesk.net/DSF/ or via email to uaa.copy@alaska.edu. All UAA signage and print requests related to the current public health emergency will receive a 15% discount.

We are working on specific processes and procedures to meet the needs of our UAA community during this time while also focusing on the health of all involved.
We ask that if you do need to stop by in person, please respect social distancing guidelines. If you are able to call ahead regarding order or mail pickup, that would be appreciated so we can make sure it's ready for you and minimize interaction.

UAA Copy & Print Center Is Still Available To Support You!
    Interim Operations Under COVID-19

Copy & Print Center staff are remotely monitoring all email, phone calls, and our digital storefront.  Our production team is available to work on-campus and are scheduled as jobs are received.   Please note that we are not available for any walk-in customers.  The proofing process will be available on an appointment only basis, and completed jobs will either be delivered by the Mailroom team or can be picked up by customers also on an appointment only basis.

The following criteria have been developed for UAA Copy & Print Center staff to use when receiving a request for a job that would require in-person activity on campus.  All work must meet the criteria required to adhere to State, Municipality, and UA/UAA mandates and directives. Only jobs that meet one or more of those criteria would be accepted as allowable for on campus production.

Vetting UAA Copy & Print Requests

    • Is the document needed to support alternative course delivery (now or for summer or fall classes)
    • Examples may include: course packets for students, mailings for instructor correspondence and course instruction or materials
    • Is it in support of UA/UAA essential functions including but not limited to: Human Resources, Facilities, Procurement, Financial Services, Housing & Dining, Information Technology Services, University Police Department, EHSRM
    • Is it required for other minimal business operations
    • Is it in support of public health and safety (Municipality of Anchorage, State of Alaska, or other essential agencies working with local, state, or federal government)
    • Is it timely (working on materials that would not be needed for several months should be postponed if possible).

Questions may be addressed to Kim Stanford, Director, UAA General Support Services, at kjstanford@alaska.edu.

GSS enterance location

We’re still here!

UAA General Support Services is not affected by the Bookstore move.  We are still in the same place at 2901 Spirit Way, the basement of the “old” Bookstore location!  As the space upstairs is refitted for Enrollment Services to move in, access to GSS for fall semester is through the entrance at the back (east) side of the building. There are a limited number of 30-minute customer spaces in the service lot, or you can park in the South Lot and walk around, or use the Engineering Parking Garage and walk to the lower level of the Student Union, then out across the back service lot.  Customers and visitors requiring ADA access should call the Mailroom counter at 786-1108 and a member of the GSS team will come to the main floor doors to provide access to the elevator.  We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to continuing to serve our UAA community!
