Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

UAA is committed to the full inclusion of individuals who experience disabilities and to continually improving the accessibility of our campus, programs, and activities.  As part of this effort, the University has designated an ADA Coordinator who will collaborate with University offices and departments to inform decision-making and ensure University compliance with State and Federal mandates.  Housed in the Office of Equity & Compliance, the ADA Coordinator is a referral point for disability related information, services and resources; consultation on policy and facilities planning; training on disability related topics; responding to disability related complaints; and development of disability related initiatives.
