Alaska Middle College School (AMCS) is a collaboration between the Anchorage School District and the University of Alaska Anchorage.

  • An ASD student's successful completion of college coursework will result in an ASD high school diploma with credits towards a UAA Associate of Arts degree
  • High school students build valuable college readiness skills to achieve success in collegiate-level academics
  • Students who attend AMCS have options to take classes at the Chugiak-Eagle River Campus* or the Anchorage Main Campus

*Please note: Due to earthquake damage at the Chugiak-Eagle River Campus (CERC), students attending the Alaska Middle College School (AMCS) at that location will be moved to the UAA Main Campus. Mat-Su Middle College School (MSMCS) is a collaboration between the Mat-Su Borough School District and the Mat-Su College Campus of the University of Alaska Anchorage.

  • An MSBSD student's successful completion of college coursework will result in a MSBSD high school diploma with credits towards a UAA Associate of Arts degree
  • High school students build college readiness skills to achieve success at collegiate-level academics.
  • Recruitment for the FY19 school year begins in January with open house events, school visits and assessment testing dates. Visit the website for dates and times.
