- Post often. Depending on the social media platform you may be posting daily or weekly.
- Create a social media strategy. Work with your department to determine what the purpose of your social media channel will be. Is it to engage with students? Push information out to the UAA community? What are your key messages?
- Create a social media calendar. Creating a calendar allows you to organize month-by-month what your content will look like and will ensure that you are continuing to update and post to your platforms.
- Follow your followers. If an individual, business, organization or group starts following you on a particular platform, following them back is a great way to gain followers and find inspiration for content.
