Our friends at CAFE are hosting 2 days of flipped workshops with guest speaker Dr. Michael Sweet. Would you like your students to come to class more frequently prepared and ready to engage? Would you like them to apply your course content to problem-solve and make decisions? Would you like to have a better ongoing sense of what they are learning (and perhaps what they are not)? Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Teacher Academy Workshop

This Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Teacher Academy is designed for the educator who wants to learn more about Microsoft's best tools and resources for classroom learning in a one-day professional learning experience.
AI&e is both excited to be partnering on a 2016 INNOVATE project. Led by Dr. Jennifer Stone, Associate Professor of English, and Dr. Kenrick Mock, Associate Dean of the College of Engineering and Professor of Computer Science, the project focuses on the design, development and testing of a mobile and web based game that will support student success at UAA. Initially entitled "Spirit Quest," the game strives to foster student engagement and drive academic success for first year students new to UAA.
