Cultural Resource Management Lab
The UAA Anthropology Cultural Resource Management (CRM) Lab includes large workbenches for artifact and faunal analysis, with reference material and equipment for faculty and students to use. Originally established in 2004, the lab was recently updated in 2014-5 and is home to fauna collection, and the Alaska Consortium of Zooarchaeology's faunal collection (www.alaskazooarch.org), a large comparative collection of northern materials, with a special emphasis on the marine fauna of Alaska's southern coast. The ACZ collection is available for any research working in the Arctic and sub-Arctic to use.
