What to Expect at UAA
The campus in summer is especially pleasant, with numerous bike trails, hiking trails, a few lakes, and lots of wildlife to enjoy. The Consortium Library, the Campus Bookstore, classrooms, and other facilities are within walking distance of housing and the Seawolf Shuttle also makes regular rounds.
- Finding Your Way Around Campus
UAA's campus is spread out over about a mile radius and can be confusing for newcomers to navigate. We recommend checking out the UAA Interactive Campus Map for help finding your way around campus!
- Parking
For those of you who will have cars and plan to drive to campus, you will need to either purchase a parking permit or use the Pay 'n' Park kiosks. Parking is free on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Permits may be ordered through https://uaa.thepermitstore.com/ or you can purchase on in-person at the Parking Office on campus.
For all parking-related questions, please contact Parking Services at 907-786-1119. They are open 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
