What to Expect at UAA
The campus in summer is especially pleasant, with numerous bike trails, hiking trails, a few lakes, and lots of wildlife to enjoy. The Consortium Library, the Campus Bookstore, classrooms, and other facilities are within walking distance of housing and the Seawolf Shuttle also makes regular rounds.
- Finding Your Way Around Campus
UAA's campus is spread out over about a mile radius and can be confusing for newcomers to navigate. We recommend checking out the UAA Interactive Campus Map for help finding your way around campus!
For all parking-related questions, please contact Parking Services at 907-786-1119. They are open 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Interested in renting a bicycle?
Faculty, staff, and current students can ride the Anchorage People Mover and the Mat-Su Valley Mover for free with your Wolf Card!
Please use caution and vigilence while on campus. We frequently see moose and sometimes bears around the area. In the event that you encounter wildlife, keep your distance. Do not taunt or attempt to touch any animals.
