Tournament Updates

The 2020 Cabin Fever Debates--UAA's intramural debating tournament--is now in it's final phase.  Eight teams, made of the five winners of each of the preliminary rounds and four wildcard teams, will contest two semifinal rounds on February 25 and March 3. Two teams will emerge from each semifinal to contest the Championship round and their share of over $2000 in prizes. Join us for some hot debates on a cold night!
 

Semifinal 1 - February 25, 2020 at 7 PM in SSB 118
Topic: Even with a 5% tuition increase, UAA is a great value.

Semifinal 2 - March 3, 2020 at  7 PM in SSB 118
When determining which programs to cut, UAA should focus on preserving programs with a clear employment path (i.e. Nursing, Aviation, Engineering, etc.).

Two teams will advance from each of the semifinal rounds to the Championship round. That round will occur in ARTS 150 on Thursday, March 5th at 7:00pm.
