Seawolf Debate Camp

Seawolf Debate Camp: Think. Speak. Achieve.

Want to think more clearly?  Write more effectively?  Speak more persuasively?  Join UAA's Seawolf Debate Program for a week-long camp that uses debating to hone analytic and advocacy skills for middle and high school students (no experience necessary).  The camp will feature exercises, mentoring & practice sessions led by our internationally-acclaimed staff and debaters and will build toward a full debate tournament at the end of the week.  Sign up to improve your public speaking and critical thinking skills while having a whole lot of fun!

August 3-8, 2020, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Daily

UAA Campus

Tuition: $350 (Tuition assistance available)

Open to all students entering 6th-10th grade in the school year beginning August 2020.

At present, we are exploring the possibility of hosting our annual debate camp this summer.  UAA has made clear that no on-campus summer programs are allowed until at least June 30; we don't yet know what will happen after that.  If we can't have a face-to-face camp, we may offer an online option.  In any case, we would keep the same dates: August 3-8.

Registering your camper now does not commit them to attend the camp--we'll survey those who have registered once we commit to a final plan so that they can confirm their camper's participation once all details are available.
