The Alaska Justice Forum is a research journal on criminal and civil justice and other legal topics, with an emphasis on the Alaska justice system. Formerly a quarterly publication, the Forum is issued three times per year as of Spring 2015. Articles from the Forum are regularly referenced in the media, and have been used as background material for professional seminars within the legal community. The publication reaches members of the Alaska U.S. congressional delegation, the state legislature, Alaska state government officials, the bar, the judiciary, correctional and law enforcement agencies, academics, research libraries throughout the country, social service agencies, and the media.

The Alaska Justice Forum began publication in May 1977 under funding from the Alaska Criminal Justice Planning Agency, Governor's Commission on the Administration of Justice. It was published by the Criminal Justice Center (now the Justice Center) of the University of Alaska Anchorage and was edited by Roger V. Endell, Peter S. Ring, and Paul L. Edscorn. Due to lack of funding it discontinued with the June 1979 issue (Volume 3, Number 6).

The Justice Center and the Alaska Justice Statistical Analysis Center resumed publication of the Alaska Justice Forum under a different format in Spring 1987 (Volume 4, Number 1) with partial funding from the Bureau of Justice Statistics, U.S. Department of Justice. In later years, publication costs have been entirely borne by the Justice Center. The Alaska Justice Forum was edited by Antonia Moras from 1987 to 2008, by Barbara Armstrong from 2008 to 2016, and by Pamela Cravez from 2017 to 2018. Henry Randolph took over as editor in Summer of 2019. As of May 2019, all issues of the Alaska Justice Forum from Volumes 8 to the present are available online; earlier issues are being digitized as time permits.
