Estimates of Alaskan women's experiences with intimate partner abuse between 2010 and 2020 are presented below. These estimates are separated into sub-components:
Psychological aggression by an intimate partner (composite)
This is separated into two types:
- partners acting angry in a way that seemed dangerous
- using verbal humiliation or disparagement
Coercive control and entrapment by an intimate partner (composite)
This is separated into four types:
- controlling actions and decisions
- threatening harm or removal of people/things important to her
- hurting or destroying people/things important to her
- controlling reproductive health
Physical violence (composite)
This is not separated into sub-components.
