Student Internship Opportunity at ATF Anchorage Field Office

The Anchorage field office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is accepting applications for a unique Fall 2019 internship open only to UAA Justice Program students.

Seal of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and ExplosivesThe Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is accepting applications for a unique Fall 2019 internship at its downtown Anchorage field office. This internship is available only to UAA Justice Program students who will be seniors in the 2019–20 academic year.

The application for this internship is different from the standard Justice program internship application, and it is due June 14. Interested students should contact Jo Walker, Academic Program Specialist, at jlwalker2@alaska.edu or (907) 786-1810.

The intern will work directly with the ATF special agent at the bureau's Anchorage field office. The intern will be involved with a wide array of responsibilities, giving them a unique opportunity to learn about the day-to-day duties of an ATF special agent.

The application deadline is 5:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2019.
