Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
University of Alaska Anchorage students can now earn a Doctor of Pharmacy degree without
leaving the state. UAA's new School of Pharmacy - a partnership with Idaho State University - is accepting students. ISU has hired program director Dr. Tom Wadsworth (see photo at right), who began work at the UAA College of Health in August 2015. The program utilizes
state of the art technology to deliver a synchronous multi-site learning experience
with live instruction at three equivalent campuses.
The new program is a collaboration between the UAA Alaska Center for Rural Health and Health Workforce, Alaska Pharmacists Association, UAA College of Health and ISU College of Pharmacy.
For more information, visit the ISU/UAA Doctor of Pharmacy program website, call (907) 786-6553, or stop by the program office located at the UAA Professional Studies Building, Suite 108.
