- May 2019: The tick field crew is on the hunt! We’re looking for ticks in Anchorage parks. Check out our website for more information about ticks in Alaska and the steps for submitting ticks you find on yourself, your pets, or wildlife. http://dec.alaska.gov/eh/vet/ticks.aspx
Please watch UAA Chancellor Cathy Sandeen's message about the Anchorage Climate Action Plan. UAA, ICHS, and the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) have partnered to create a Climate Action Plan (CAP) for the city of Anchorage to help residents and the city adapt to climate change and its impacts.
