The Chugiak-Eagle River Campus (CERC) provides instruction and related activities to meet the Chugiak and Eagle River community needs for postsecondary courses, workforce development, professional and continuing education, and student support services.
CERC offers classes scheduled in a once-a-week meeting format in the evenings and on the weekends to provide educational access for nontraditional, working adults or those who need greater flexibility in an academic schedule.Our Mission

AMCS helps high school students accelerate into college
Alaska Middle College School program coordinator Whitney Tisdale, along with students Shana Beattie and Alex Grey, stands outside UAA's Chugiak-Eagle River Campus building, where AMCS high school classes and UAA classes take place. Alaska Middle College School is making it possible for high school juniors and seniors to complete graduation requirements, begin amassing credits for college—for free—and potentially earn an associate degree before becoming college freshmen. Sept 5 - Labor Day - UAA Closed
Sept 6 - Faculty approval required to add classes
Sept 9 by 5pm - Add/drop deadline
September 19 by 5pm - Payment deadline
Oct 31 - Spring 2017 schedule live
November 24-27* - No Class Days - Thanksgiving Holiday - UAA Closed
Dec 8 - Deadline to apply for fall graduation
Dec 11*-17 - CERC Fall Final Exams
December 22 - Grades Available on UAOnline
