Due to deteriorating and unsafe road conditions in Anchorage and the surrounding areas, the Anchorage campus will close at 5 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024. Athletics competitions and some other activities will continue as scheduled. Check email for additional info.

OEC Bakery & Pastry Arts - The OEC in Bakery & Pastry Arts is a two-semester long program designed to prepare you for entry-level baking positions. In this program, you will gain hands-on experience in our state of the art production bakery while developing a solid foundation through beginning baking, advanced baking, and specialized baking and pastry courses. To prepare you for the hands-on labs, you will become familiarized with standard sanitation practices, which upon successful completion, become ServSafe certified. 

OEC Culinary Arts - The OEC Culinary Arts program is a three-semester long program designed to prepare you for entry-level culinary positions. In this program, you will gain hands-on experience in our state of the art kitchen using cutting edge equipment found in industry. You will spend one semester learning in the kitchen and one semester learning in the bakery. This provides students with a well-rounded skill set ready for industry. To prepare you for the hands-on labs, you will become familiarized with standard sanitation practices, which upon successful completion, become ServSafe certified. 

AAS Culinary Arts - The AAS Culinary Arts program is accredited by the American Culinary Federation (ACF). Graduates of this program are prepared for entry-level work positions in the rapidly expanding and varied food service, hospitality and tourism industry and can quickly advance in career opportunities because of their formal training and education. AAS students have an opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy at FUA APICIUS. Upon successful completion of the AAS Culinary Arts degree, students will be ACF certified culinarians.
