Complete Your Mission

The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) Military Programs is designed to meet the unique needs of military personnel and their families who find that earning a degree comes with additional challenges due to frequent moves. Part of the UAA Community & Technical College, the program is located on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) and provides courses and services to the active duty, guard and reserve members on the base. Spouses, children and civilian employees also benefit from the services provided.

Military students can also obtain advising services and assistance with enrollment and program selection. Military Programs serves over 600 enrolled students and sees more than 1,500 service members seeking courses and programs from UAA.
