Mission

Automotive Technology

The mission of the Automotive Technology program is to prepare students for high paying, high demand careers in the transportation repair and maintenance field, to assist working automotive technicians in continuing and professional education, to assist other related programs (both secondary and postsecondary throughout Alaska), and to advance the image of the automotive technology industry.

Diesel Power Technology

The mission of the Diesel Power Technology program is to prepare students for high paying, high demand careers in the transportation repair and maintenance field, to assist working heavy-duty diesel technicians in continuing and professional education, to assist other relevant programs (both secondary and postsecondary throughout Alaska) and to advance the image of the heavy duty diesel and transportation industry.

Welding & Nondestructive Testing Technology

The mission of the Welding and Nondestructive Testing Technology program is to prepare students for employment in welding and/or nondestructive examination as entry-level technicians.
