Business Leadership

This OEC is designed for individuals in entry-level leadership roles. The program will focus on students developing skills to effectively manage and supervise individuals to achieve organizational objectives. In addition, students will learn Microsoft Office to augment their leadership and communication competencies.

 

Anchorage Needs Business Leadership

The Anchorage Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) 2019 Real-Time Job Intelligence Report lists Supervision/Management in the top 10 of the most frequently requested skills in Anchorage's job postings. In addition, the Educational Programs appearing in the most job ads for Anchorage are Business, followed by Accounting, Nursing, and Business Administration. Over 80% of employers rate leadership as very important for four-year college graduates entering the workforce.
