Late Application for Admission
Please read this page carefully before you submit
a late application for admission.
The goal of the Office of
Admissions is to admit every student for the term that will best meet their
needs. For assistance before completing a late application please contact Peggy
Byers at 907-786-1467 or come to the University Center One Stop and sign in for Admissions.
It is not always necessary to be an admitted degree student in order to take classes at UAA.
You must be degree seeking in order to receive most forms of financial aid but not all.
You will need to submit a Late Admission Agreement form with your late application even if you have already applied and want to change the application to the current term.
If you are unable to register for classes you will need to complete a non-degree seeking application for temporary access to registration. You will be eligible to register in the non-degree seeking student priority group.
If you are a graduate student, contact your department for approval to apply late
before you complete an application.
If you have met with Peggy Byers and determined that a late application is the right option for you, visit UA Online
and select the LATE application (pictured highlighted below) for either a two year associate/certificate program or a four year baccalaureate program and follow the instructions. If you have any questions about about applying late, contact us
