UAA Late Admissions

The last day to add/drop Spring 2016 courses is January 22nd.

The goal of the Office of Admissions is to admit every student for the term that will best meet their needs. If you are unsure if late admission is your best option for success, please call 907-786-1480 or come to the University Center One Stop and sign in for Admissions.

  • It is not always necessary to be an admitted degree student in order to take classes at UAA.

  • You must be degree seeking in order to receive most forms of financial aid but not all.

  • You will only need to submit a Late Admission Agreement form IF you have already applied to a future term beyond the term you want to attend. In other words you are asking us to move your application backward and you missed the deadline to apply.

  • If you apply late you will not be admitted in time for priority registration.  You may need to complete a non-degree seeking application for temporary access to registration. You will be eligible to register in the non-degree seeking student priority group.
  • If you are a graduate student, contact your department for approval to apply late before you complete an application.

Visit UA Online and select the LATE application (pictured & highlighted below) for a two year associate or certificate program or a four year baccalaureate program. If you have any questions about about applying late, contact usCapture

If you are unable to submit a web application, you may submit a late paper application, with the required Late Admission Agreement attached. Please be aware, paper applications take more time to gain access to course registration.
