Arctic FASD RTC Publications
During its first year, the Arctic FASD Regional
Training Center conducted two FASD education needs assessments, which
assisted us in developing tailored training materials. In both needs
assessments the questions were based around the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s seven core FASD competencies.
The results of these two needs assessments were published in the following journals:
Brems, C., Boschma-Wynn, R.V., Dewane, S.L., Edwards, A., & Robinson, R.V. (2011) Prevention of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders: Educational Needs in Academia. Journal of Alcohol and Drug Education 55:15-37.
