The UAA Economics Club is a group of individuals who have an interest in promoting the advancement of economic knowledge at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Membership or participation within the club or its activities does not require you to be an economics major. All interested parties are more than welcome to participate. The Econ Club offers a scholarship for its most active member on campus. Activities include lectures, discussions, annual quiz bowl, and tutoring. Guest speakers are frequent and always have interesting topics that are related to the Alaskan and U.S. economy. If you are interested in economics and would like to have fun while gaining a better understanding of the world around you, then come join us at the next Economics Club meeting. We provide food and beverage for those who attend!
