General Contractor - CQC System Manager

The CQC System Manager will work onsite and shall be responsible for overall management of CQC. Essential duties will be: implementing the QC plan and three phases of control; completing inspection reports and documentation; inspection and evaluation of the work performed; coordination of GC activities with Project Management and Superintendent; keeping accurate records and maintaining paperwork along with QCS system; managing and monitoring required testing; Performing pre-final and final inspections and corrective action log; conducting and attending QC meetings; and maintaining As-builts on project. 

Qualifications Include:

  • Willing to travel and work on site for extended periods
  • Graduate of Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
  • Five years of construction experience
  • Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and preferably Primevera
  • Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to successfully pass background and security check
  • Current CQM Certificate, OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire - Frawner will pay for training.

Quality Control Manager/Assistant Project Manager

Weldin Construction LLC is looking for a Quality Control Manager/Assistant Project Manager. Candidates should be recent graduates of the construction Management Program. The individual must be willing to work 40+ hours and spend the majority of the summer out of the Anchorage area. Duties will include daily reports, submittal review, payroll, expediting, tracking progress, subcontractor coordination, material acquisition, etc. Position is under an experienced Project Manager on projects in Kodiak, Delta Junction, and Fairbanks. Superintendent/Estimator

AIS, Inc. (Alaska Insulation Supply and Alaskan Insulation Specialties) is seeking a qualified person to join a mechanical insulation construction company to serve as field superintendent and estimator. A successful candidate will be able to provide estimating services on small to large commercial projects, as well as communicate with field staff and contractors on construction projects. A good working knowledge of mechanical construction is imperative. A positive , take charge attitude is a must. Expectations include communication with field employees as well as developing an excellent working relationship with customers (mainly mechanical contractors).
