Patrick Doyle


Pat Doyle  J. Patrick Doyle, president and publisher of the Anchorage Daily News, is a newspaper executive with 32 years of success.  Born and raised in Minnesota, he began his career in 1976 in advertising sales for the Owatonna People’s Press.

Pat joined Gannett in 2001 as president and publisher of The Palladium-Item.  He previously worked as group publisher for the Conley Publishing Group in Wisconsin and spent 17 years with Thomson Newspapers, Inc. in executive roles, including vice president and group publisher.

Pat is a member of Rotary. He and his wife, Linda, have two adult children.
