As Dean of the College of Health, I work with our faculty and staff to promote academic and research excellence on the UA system’s health campus. With our faculty, staff, and community partners, we are collaborating on our five strategic priorities for the next five years:
Expanding and reinforcing the College of Health’s research capacity to address health challenges in Alaska;
Developing and implementing comprehensive lifelong learning pathways that prepare students for the future;
Efficiently and effectively utilizing our resources to prepare and maintain a workforce to meet the future health and well being needs in Alaska;
Developing and optimizing our communication, structure, fiscal, and employee processes with compliance reviews; and
Forging strong relationships, partnerships, and ties with our communities, businesses, schools and people.
We are proud of our students, alums, faculty, and staff – all of whom are making important contributions to the well being of Alaska. We look forward to welcoming our future students and invite you to tour our campus.
