Continuing Education brings you the newest technology in Microsoft Application  training for Word, Excel, Access,  Outlook and PowerPoint, available in both 2010 and 2013 platforms.

Classes are held in a variety of locations:

  • University Center on Old Seward  Highway
  • Chugiak-Eagle River Campus in Eagle River

Lunch & Learn Series

Lunch and Learn Series provide great opportunities to receive professional development training while enjoying lunch and networking with other professionals. Topics include technology, social media, office organization, team building, management, supervision and leadership, and much more.

Lunch & Learn Series meet 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University Center at 3801 Old Seward Highway in Anchorage and at the Chugiak Eagle River Campus in Eagle River.  Lunch is included.

Kids' College Summer Camps

We're offering innovative experiences in technology for Alaska's youth for Summer 2015! Register early to reserve seats in these popular and dynamic classes. New programs include technology, video game creation, and the ever-popular Minecraft programs

Early Bird Special Extended until March 6*:

  • Week long half-day camp $159
  • Week long full-day camp  $299 (Lunch/beverages included in full-day camps.)

*After March 6, prices return to regular rates of $179 for half-day and $339 for full-day camps.

UAA Employee Professional Development

The Continuing Education Department provides opportunities for professional development to UAA employees at a reduced fee. Topics offered each semester include computer training in Microsoft and Adobe and a Lunch & Learn Series. Fees cover specific items such as training workbook or lunch cost.
