Meeting Industry Needs
Answer: Yes, the curriculum process can take awhile.
Consider other options:
- Trial courses enable you to see if there is enough demand for a course. Trial courses may be offered three times before they must be made permanent courses.
- Selected topics courses enable you to plug a variety of course material into one course. Please note that if you create a selected topics course, the CCG must contain a sample course outline adapted to a specific topic. It must also include a bibliography, but may not include a suggested text.
- Non-credit and CEU courses are approved at the college level. Does the industry need or want credit for the course? If not, see if a non-credit or CEU course would be suitable.
- Talk to a PICR member or OAA about your needs.
